Salary range: $43,251.86 to $50,360.42 annually
The Production Assistant is responsible for:
- Supporting the work of the Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) in both course design and teaching and learning.
- Providing technical support for the design, development, implementation, co-ordination, and evaluation of courses in core, con ed, and customized programs.
- Providing expert direct live chat service and support to help faculty integrate technology into their teaching, as well as facilitating connections to other support teams and resources.
- Working in close co-operation with various members of CTL to provide additional support for core activities including supporting professional development activities for faculty and special projects.
Qualifications and Occupational Experience:
- The minimum educational qualification for this position is a high school diploma or equivalent (GED.
- This is an entry-level position. We welcome applications from recent graduates The incumbent must possess:
- Demonstrated fluency in industry-standard software and technologies including the Adobe Creative Suite of products (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) on Mac and PC platforms.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technical environments.
- Experience with learning management systems, D2L in particular would be an asset.
- Experience with eLearning authoring software packages such as Articulate Storyline and Camtasia would also be an asset.
- Knowledge of MS Office applications, Office 365, SharePoint.
- Experience with document production and data entry.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills and positive client service perspective.
