Standard Work Hours: Mon - Fri | 8:15 am - 4:30 pm | 36.25 hours per week
YOUR FOCUS
Reporting to the Manager of Service Operations, the Client Support Analyst provides technology consultation, installation, support, and maintenance services through the ITS Service Desk, the UNB Mobility Centre and through service agreements with UNB Departments. This position also supervises students.
- Provide quality tier 1 & tier 2 technology support for users.
- Maintain and support technology in departments; investigate & diagnose incidents/vulnerabilities, apply known fixes & maintain documentation.
- Effectively and efficiently, install and connect technology hardware and software.
- Provide technology purchasing recommendations that meet users' needs and assist in the building of technology budgets.
- Effectively supervise student employees.
- Contribute to successful personal and team performance.
- Participate in project teams as an effective team member and complete independent projects successfully and on time.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in a technology field.
- 3 years related work experience.
Additional Strengths
- Experience troubleshooting Windows, Macintosh, and Linux operating systems.
- Excellent customer service.
- Must be willing to work occasional overtime and participate in regular after hours on-call.
- Participation in after-hours emergency response if available.
- Ability to prioritize work, apply evolving departmental standards and meet deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to changes in work and technical environments.
- Exercise initiative to independently learn new technologies.
