The Company

A household name since 1879, Crosby's Molasses Company is a small, independent, family-run company that still holds onto the values that have long made it one of the most trusted employers in Eastern Canada. As we move into an exciting future of growth and opportunity, we maintain our strong commitment to quality and our employees.

The Role

As our Supply Chain Manager, you will help to take our supply chain (SC) performance to the next level. In this intermediate management role, which reports directly to our President, you will oversee, mentor, and collaborate with our capable and dedicated SC team. In addition to managing all day-to-day SC activities (planning, scheduling, procurement and warehousing), you will work closely with other departments and key vendors/suppliers to develop and implement a supply management strategy that focuses on performance and continuous improvement. You will monitor supply chain activities throughout the company to capitalize upon existing strengths and mitigate risks. You will also identify opportunities to implement new systems, streamline processes and effectively manage costs.

If you are looking for a growth opportunity where your input, experience and dedication will have a direct impact on a company's direction, this is the role for you.

The Requirements

You have at least five years of experience in supply chain management (with a minimum of two years' leadership experience) and proven experience with ERP, MRP, inventory management and logistics. You have a collaborative management style and are just as excited to learn from your team as you are to share ideas and provide mentorship. You are known for your strong interpersonal skills and your ability to remain calm, effective, and friendly in a fast-paced production environment. You are analytical, organized, efficient, action oriented and have a keen problem-solving mindset. You have advanced MS Office experience and strong computer skills. Certification in continuous improvement methodologies is an asset.

As part of our food safety and hiring practices, an acceptable criminal background check is required as part of any employment offer.

The Rewards

We offer a safe and friendly work environment with a competitive compensation package and excellent work-life balance. People come first at Crosby's!

To Apply

Please ensure your resume and cover letter include your phone number and email address. We will treat every inquiry and application with the utmost confidentiality.
