We are growing in Halifax and are currently looking for an experienced Senior Technical Tester to help us do that!

Responsabilités
  • Produce documentation to support testing activities
  • Conduct testing in an Agile environment
  • Use defect tracking and test case management systems to document test cases, record defects and record test case execution results
  • Work/communicate directly with clients and discuss prioritizing of testing activities
  • Extract testing requirements from functional and business requirements
  • Write test plans and test cases
  • Create test status reports
Qualifications
  • Computer Science degree, Engineering degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years of experience as a Software Quality Assurance Analys
  • Experience writing and executing GUI automation scripts (Selenium, Tosca, Ranorex, Cypress.io, etc)
  • Experience writing and executing API automation scripts (SoapUI, Postman, ReadyAPI, etc)
  • Excellent SQL skills
  • Experience working in Technical Testing using concepts like TDD and BDD
  • Coding Skills: Any of Java/JavaScript/HTML/CSS/Json/C#/Python
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Knowledge of performance testing would be an asset (JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, etc)
  • Demonstrated experience having tested complex IT solutions
  • Experience with Test Management tools such as HP ALM

  • ETL and Data warehouse experience would be an asset
