Butterfield Support Services (Halifax) Limited provides centralized shared services and support to the Butterfield Group in the areas of Finance and Accounting, Human Resources, Information Technology, Operations, Client Services and Compliance.
We are seeking an experienced, project oriented and highly motivated Human Resources professional to join our global Human Resources team for a six month contract. The HR Project Manager will manage and support project activity associated with strategic HR programs and initiatives, as well as day-to-day project tasks, project governance, and collation, review and analysis of HR data and reporting. This position will report to the Vice President, Human Resources.
Your responsibilities will include:
- devising and maintaining an HR Project Plan ensuring key deliverables and milestones are identified, tracked, actioned and effectively communicated to stakeholders
- coordinating the efforts of a senior HR team and project teams while ensuring all are on track to meet key project milestones and objectives within budget and allocated resources
- conducting research and making inquiries to ensure relevant jurisdictional policies, legislation and current and best practices are considered and recommendations are made in line with those
- analysing, preparing, presenting, interpreting and communicating key personnel data
- establishing and maintaining a thorough project reporting mechanism to ensure stakeholders are regularly updated on the project status and any risks or concerns are identified and escalated
- contributing to a range of HR efforts, including but not limited to, workforce planning and analysis, organisational design, transition planning and reporting, engagement and culture, compensation and benefits, HR information systems and associated processes
- performing job specification reviews, benchmarking analysis for roles and compensation, and making thoughtful recommendations
Your qualifications and skills include:
- proven HR expertise with previous experience in a change-driven or transformational environment
- detail oriented with strong data, analytical and problem solving skills
- exceptional organization skills with the ability to effectively coordinate, plan and document projects through to delivery
- excellent communication skills with ability to establish relationships and credibility
- demonstrated experience and success delivering HR related projects/programs
- works comfortably in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
