What you can expect in a typical day:
This role is responsible for the day-to-day servicing of our customers through troubleshooting and performing diagnostic activities in regard to service equipment within established policies and procedures.
What youll need to succeed:

• Diagnose system problems by completing steps required during inspection, including checking gas flow, thermostats, heat flow, and insulation etc.
• Fix problems that occur by reviewing diagnostics and using the proper tools to complete repairs.
• Provide final inspections of systems once repairs are completed to ensure all equipment is operating safely.
• Foster good customer relations by explaining to customers what service work was performed.
• Complete appropriate daily paper work for each service call.
• Maintain daily and yearly inventory.
• Ensure that service truck is in good working order and reliable.
• Perform other duties as required to maintain and enhance departmental productivity.

Travel

• Occasional travel throughout Southern New Brunswick required.

Education and experience

• Licensed Propane Heating Technician
• Minimum of G2 License
• Dual license (Oil and Gas) an asset.
• Knowledge of wiring, plumbing, and some air conditioning is required.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Good organization and communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong decision-making skills.
• Safety focused required.
