Account Executive

Enkel is looking for an Account Executive to join its sales team.

We started Enkel to disrupt the delivery of accounting services through the use of transformational cloud-based accounting technology. Today we provide managed accounting and reporting services to over 300 Canadian businesses and Not-for-Profit organizations. Enkel is expanding its presence across Canada with the goal of becoming Canada's most trusted Accounting-As-A-Service provider.

We move at a fast pace and we don't believe in accepting the status quo.

This is a tactical, execution-oriented role. Speed is important. This is an in-office role.

What your day looks like

Your goal will be to nurture leads and convert them to clients. To do so, you will:

  • Respond quickly and urgently to inbound inquiries and establish a strong rapport with potential customers via email/phone and other channels
  • Educate potential customers on the value of outsourced accounting solutions and specifically Enkel's outsourced accounting solutions
  • Present yourself professionally at all times and be the face of our brand to prospective customers
  • Take responsibility for all inbound leads, speak to these inbound leads, and build a relationship with the lead until the lead can be closed
  • Reach out to potential buyers to educate them on the value of Enkel's services, nurturing the lead to closure
  • Maintain Enkel's CRM and diligently monitor all opportunities at all stages in the pipeline
  • Work with Enkel's marketing team to ensure that Enkel's positioning is consistent with market demands

In addition to the above, you will also strategically target certain prospects identified by the marketing team as potential buyers.

What you bring:

  • 5+ years of sales experience to mid-market companies
  • Ambition, self-drive, and a growth mindset
  • A background in accounting is a plus
  • A passion for business and process improvement
  • Well-experienced with CRM software with a preference for Hubspot
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Well-organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A commitment to customer service and to serving the needs of entrepreneurs in a variety of sectors
  • An appetite for continuous improvement and change
  • An overall commitment to continuous learning and personal growth
  • An entrepreneurial spirit
  • A desire to continuously improve and inspire greatness

Compensation

$120k OTE with a $65k base.
