We are looking for a highly motivated, self-driven software developer with a can-do attitude who's ready to join our team as a Front-End Developer. You are a flexible team player who loves to solve difficult problems… looking for that “get-it-done” personality. You will report to our Lead Application Developer and will be an important part of the team.

What's your role?

Your primary role will be to work within our fast-paced development team to develop various web and mobile projects. You will have the opportunity to be involved in both internal company projects as well as customer facing projects. You will ensure that an enjoyable user experience is always delivered.

Responsibilities

• As a Front-end UI/UX developer, you should be able to contribute to both the front-end AND work with the back-end development team to communicate refined requirements.
• Be able to lead or manage the front-end development of a project from beginning to end as a part of a project team.
• Work with the graphic and copy writers to ensure wireframe and front end designs are comprehensive and complete.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional front end development experience creating responsive Mobile-Ready websites
• 4+ years of professional experience with React Native.
• Strong experience with JavaScript (ES6), JQuery, HTML5, CSS3, Sass/SCSS, Grid, Flexbox
• Experience developing iOS and Android mobile applications
• Experience with REST API design
• Strong knowledge and use of Git, merging, branching, rebasing

• Experience with VSCode
  

Nice to haves

• Familiar with ES6 Node, Docker, Mongo, MySQL / PostgreSQL
• Development experience in other modern web technologies like Vue and Angular
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Mocha

Education

BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience and education combined
