Role: Content Marketing Lead

Method is taking a fresh approach to its content strategy and we are looking for somebody to lead that charge. With over 3,000 customers and our growth soaring, we're looking for a critical member of the marketing team to lead the content team with enthusiasm.

About Method

Method creates web applications for small and medium sized businesses (SMBs). Our flagship product is Method:CRM, a CRM application made specifically for small and medium sized businesses using QuickBooks and Xero's accounting software. What sets Method:CRM apart is our ability to create customized applications for individual SMBs. This is all facilitated by a patented accounting synchronization engine. Method's no-code customization engine enables businesses to achieve their optimal workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Lead entire content marketing division - managing the content team and leading from a strategic standpoint with a balance between volume and quality
  • Develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with business goals
  • Build and execute a top and middle of funnel strategy across multiple channels including webinars, podcasts, social, SEO, blog, infographics, newsletters, case studies, videos and more
  • Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, including website traffic, engagement, lead generation, and conversion rates, and leverage insights to optimize content strategy and drive continuous improvement
  • Work with our Product and Sales Teams to understand the impact of your work not just from a numbers perspective but also a quality perspective. Be willing to work with these teams to evolve your content strategy to acquire leads that are likely to close.
  • Craft and execute a dynamic social media strategy to enhance brand presence, engage the target audience, and generate leads
  • Lead SEO optimization efforts across content to enhance online visibility, increase organic traffic and improve search engine rankings
  • Manage webinars with guest hosts and guest podcast appearances
  • Collaborate with strategic partners to develop and execute content marketing collaborations
  • Keep updated on industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies in content marketing – incorporate innovative approaches into the content strategy

Requirements

We are looking for someone with the below qualifications and experience:

  • 5-7+ years experience in content marketing: Preferably in B2B SaaS companies
  • Creative Strategist: A digitally savvy content expert with a proven ability to craft engaging narratives and content strategies across various channels.
  • Data-Driven: Proficient in using analytics to optimize content performance and drive measurable results.
  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated experience and capability to lead and inspire teams to achieve excellence in content production and strategy.
  • SEO Expertise: Experience implementing SEO strategies to increase online visibility and improve search rankings.
  • Results-Oriented: Proven track record of delivering tangible outcomes in content marketing, including increased traffic, engagement, and lead generation.
