The Opportunity

Fueling Brains Academy - McKnight, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Child Care Aid to join our dynamic team. This position involves supporting a preschooler in our child care center, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one support to a preschooler with diverse abilities in a daycare classroom setting.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for the child.
  • Assist in daily activities, ensuring the child's unique needs are met.
  • Collaborate with the classroom teacher and other team members to enrich the child's experience.

What You Bring (Preferred Skills and Qualifications)

  • Patience, compassion, and a genuine passion for supporting children with diverse needs.
  • Ability to engage and communicate effectively with the child and other team members.
  • Current criminal record check and First Aid Certification.
  • Prior experience in a childcare setting is an asset.
