Munck Cranes is seeking a licensed Millwright or Electrician with overhead crane experience to join our service team as a Crane Service Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections, service, and repairs on various models of overhead cranes and lifting devices. They will troubleshoot on-site electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues and maintain all company equipment and assets in proper working order. Additionally, the candidate must have good communication and problem-solving skills, build and maintain positive relationships with customers, and possess a valid driver's license in good standing.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting on overhead cranes and lifting devices
  • Ensure compliance with industry codes and regulations
  • Manage and train apprentices as required
  • Provide after-hours service as required

Requirements:

  • Qualified Journeyman Electrician or Millwright with 2 years of previous experience working on overhead cranes or lifting equipment
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license in good standing
