The Sales and Marketing Lead is primarily responsible for developing and executing the company's sales strategy and managing its marketing campaigns for a variety of real estate development and property management projects. This position provides guidance and support to the Sales and Marketing team to develop promotional strategies, provide strategic input on advertising and marketing initiatives, and ensure consistent utilization and growth of the Zehr Group brand.

The Sales and Marketing Lead supports the Sales Department in the administration and coordination of all sales agreements and transactions for Zehr Group. The individual also plays a critical role to ensure the open flow of communication between the Sales team and other departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Marketing

  • Develop and manage project marketing campaigns in alignment with corporate objectives, including budgeting and scheduling, in collaboration with the Experience Manager.
  • Support the Experience Manager with sourcing marketing & sales agencies.
  • Contribute to the creation and management of marketing materials across platforms with the Experience Manager.
  • Participate in various internal meetings as well as product design, and development sessions.
  • Assist senior leadership in executing agreements of sales.
  • Ensure that all deliverables meet the company's standards for quality, cost-effectiveness, and branding.

Data Analysis & Administration

  • Provide insight on new and emerging trends in the marketing and sales space to influence relevant strategies.
  • Assist in the startup processes of new home communities.
  • Coordinate the movement of contract documents including creation from established templates to filing and logging in applicable system.
  • Monitor and report on competitive projects based on location, product, quality, and pricing.
  • Accurately manage sales transactions and information within CRM databases, ensuring proper distribution.
  • Assist Sales agents with occasional report generation.
  • Oversee the maintenance and supply needs of sales centres and model homes.
  • Provide support for Sales Representatives, including responding to inquiries and requests.
  • Assist with ERP system setups and updates for new project sales.

Internal & External Communications

  • Demonstrate and promote Zehr Group's core values consistently.
  • Copyedit and proofread all company communications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and corporate partners.
  • Liaise frequently with internal and external key contacts.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and marketing within the real estate development industry, including new home sales and management.
  • Degree/certificate in Marketing, Design, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mortgages, real estate law, financing, and an in-depth understanding of the real estate market.
  • Strong foundation in marketing principles, digital marketing (SEO, Google advertising, social media), and graphic design fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with real estate sales processes, administrative requirements, Tarion regulations, and a strong attention to detail in documentation.
  • Experience with marketing agencies, print production, content design, and event organization.
  • Valid class G driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Proficiency in organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills, capable of managing multiple projects under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suites software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe Rush, and Premium Pro.
  • Strong ability to work effectively in a team environment by fostering open communication, cooperation.
  • Ability to thrive in challenging work by taking initiative and working independently when required.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with a strong bias towards data driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills demonstrating attention to detail, accuracy, and relationship building.

WORKING CONDITIONS - PHYSICAL/MENTAL/SENSORY DEMANDS

  • Primarily office based on-site at Zehr Group's head office.
  • May be required to be on-site for extended periods depending on project stage.
