  • Install, configure, and support an organization?s local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN) and Internet system or a segment of a network system.
  • Responsible for monitoring network to ensure network availability to all system users. Education/Experience.
  • Associate degree in computer related field required.
  • Bachelor degree in computer science preferred.
  • 2 to 4 years experience required.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
  • Ability to identify, interpret and evaluate system and network requirements.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and software as it related to LAN/WAN.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary.
  • Configure, monitor and maintain email applications or virus protection software.
  • Operate master consoles to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, and to coordinate computer network access and use.
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • You will work in a corporate environment located onsite with one of our largest and most well-known customers.
Your duties will include but will not be limited to:
  • Installing and configuring OS on client laptops.
  • Migrating client data to new laptop.
  • Advanced break/fix support of software/hardware issues for clients.
  • Managing and updating tickets via the client's ticketing database.
  • Processing assets returned from clients leaving the company
  • Ensuring all client inventory assets are stored and distributed in a clean and professional manner.
  • You will have frequent interaction with clients in person and also via phone, email and IM.
  • You will be required to update the client ticketing system and database.
  • You may be tasked to assist with asset inventory audits.
  • You will be required to wear a plain black collared shirt daily to identify yourself as a support technician.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years technical experience desired.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. solo.
  • May be required to walk/sit/stand/crawl/kneel for extended periods.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills and excellent written/verbal communication skills.
  • Requires knowledge of Microsoft suite (Outlook, Excel and Word primarily), Windows 10.
  • Technical certifications a plus.
  • Scope of Services Resources will be involved in the following activities as part of the scope of client computing under the direction of First Party.
  • Providing onsite support to walk up customers.
  • This includes break/fix, account issues, etc.
  • Open tickets with Dell for hardware repairs and be the point of contact with Dell for the customer.
Perform the following via elevated rates provided by Customer:
  • Reset users passwords and their MFA authentication. i. Register laptops in Intune, obtain Bitlocker keys via CyberArk.
