Job Description

Job Title:

Marina Store Sales Associate– Old Town Bay Marina

Old Town Bay Marina Store requires a sales associate for summer seasonal employment.

Full time 40 hours per week, part time hours available in June, working into full time July & August.

Must be available for weekdays & weekends

Job Function:

Ensures a high level of customer service and sell products in our Marina Store in accordance with the procedures of the Quality System and meet time commitments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide a welcoming environment for our guests by delivering exceptional customer service
  • Process cash and card transactions on POS
  • Complete daily records such as inventory, opening, closing reports and cash outs
  • Completion of required daily tasks as assigned
  • Maintain a neat and clean, organized working area/marina store
  • Stock Shelves and display areas
  • Receive/unpack stock inventory
  • Orders supplies and inventory for retail store
  • Perform all functions of customer service
  • Performs other duties or support to co-workers as the pressures dictate within the Old Town Bay Marina environment.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong supervisory abilities
  • Customer Service training or related experience

Preferred Knowledge or Experience:

  • Tourism Industry or related experience
  • Previous retail experience is an asset but training is available
  • ISO training
  • Team player

*Must currently be legally able to work in Canada*
