Leader Name: Associate Director, Digital Marketing

Work Arrangement: Hybrid: You'll work both remote and onsite, where time onsite is based on your job accountabilities and performance objectives.

As ATB's next Digital Marketing Assistant Manager within Culture, Communication, and Marketing, this position will involve supporting the development and execution of digital marketing strategies and tactics aligned with the business goals of ATB's audiences and business areas. As a member of the digital center of expertise, this role will collaborate closely with digital strategy managers, the digital content producer, email and marketing automation strategists, the digital experience strategist, SEO experts, and creative resources to create high-performing and measurable digital marketing tactics.

  • Support the development and execution of the digital strategy and experience, encompassing web, digital content, email, and paid search, to meet brand objectives, business goals, and consumer needs within Advisory markets.
  • Responsible for generating ideas and creating strategies to help effectively reach target audiences online to achieve business and campaign goals.
  • Help establish KPIs and identify the tools required to successfully execute the digital strategy.
  • Use marketing automation tools to understand and nurture prospects and clients based on individual wants and needs to influence awareness, consideration, acquisition and deepening objectives.
  • Responsible for delivery of the digital strategy, nurture path or digital journey to meet marketing objectives across channels. Understanding of inbound and ABM approaches when appropriate.
  • Partner with the digital marketing specialists (web, email, content) on building digital experiences and recommendations around landing pages, campaign pages, product pages, emails etc.
  • Stay on top of digital marketing trends as a generalist, including content marketing, digital advertising, inbound strategy, social media, webinars, SEM, SEO, marketing automation and email, ABM (when relevant), web strategy and paid search.
  • Collaborate and support the creation of strong, compelling and strategic media recommendations on how digital channels can be used to integrate the client journey and being able to define the role of digital.
  • Be an active and equal partner participating in the assigned squad(s) for the area of business.

Requirements

  • University or college degree in marketing, business, communications or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years of experience in marketing.
  • A strong team player with experience collaborating with cross-functional teams that include writers, designers, researchers/analysts, marketing experts, and subject matter experts.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Time management skills including, effectively prioritizing tasks, managing deadlines, and optimizing workflow to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Having a proactive mindset with a demonstrated ability to anticipate needs, identify opportunities, and take action without explicit instruction.
  • Being flexible and open-minded in response to unexpected changes or obstacles, and able to quickly adjust strategies or approaches as needed.
  • Financial services experience is an asset.
  • Experience with marketing tools including, but not limited to: Episerver/Optimizely, Hubspot, GA4, Clickmeeting, Miro, and SiteImprove.
