Job Title: Director - Solutions Delivery, FinanceJob ID: BJ53284374Location: Vancouver, BCOverview:Our client is undergoing an important evolution to amplify their accounting, FP&A, analytics and treasury to support the global growth of their business! This will enhance their planning, forecasting visibility, and accuracy, integrating their planning and forecasting processes across the enterprise to ensure an effective business operating system which will improve the ability to forecast business results, mitigate risk, and produce the consistent results expected of a world-class finance organization. As the Director - Solutions Delivery, Finance, you will partner with the finance organization to define the target operating model design for their company's financial system landscape and business processes. You will play a meaningful role in evaluating the ERP capabilities and will co-lead the ERP finance track during the ERP implementation. This position will be based in Vancouver, BC. The client loves their office and the setting it provides for celebration and collaboration but they also appreciate that working remotely can energize you too, so they do offer flexible arrangements!What you will be doing:
  • Provide thought leadership to the creation and implementation of the process and technology vision, strategy, operating model, and roadmap of the company's global finance organization
  • Drive alignment and active sponsorship with the company's finance and business stakeholders
  • Proactively advise the finance leadership team on the platforms, new technologies, and digital trends that are most relevant to their goals and evolving needs
  • Lead target operating model design for the company's financial systems landscape and finance business processes, and lead IT enablement by continually evaluating chosen ERP capabilities and unique bolt-on solutions that will drive efficiencies
  • Continually explore finance operations across areas including Accounting, Payroll, FP&A, Analytics and Treasury to identify automation and enhancement opportunities
  • Transition from legacy finance operation processes to target model platforms and processes
What you must have:
  • A minimum of 10 years leading ERP/ platform with a heavy focus on finance business process improvements and transformation
  • 7 + years in a leadership position
  • An undergraduate degree in finance, business, computer science, or a related field
  • Proven experience leading complex, major transformation initiatives
  • Experience building an enterprise-level financial data analytics capability, and developing and supporting finance applications
  • Solid understanding of system architecture, technical design, and system and software development technology
  • Must be a visible leader with executive presence
  • Ability to attract, develop and retain talent and build impactful teams
  • Ability to cultivate a culture of transparency that embraces innovation, and a sense of purpose among the team and create clear accountabilities and metrics
  • Must be skilled at setting and communicating priorities effectively and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Exceptional ability to lead change using positive and collaborative methods
  • Ability to communicate technical or complex subject matter in business terms
