Our client is concerned with all aspects of ensuring that the necessary computer systems are implemented to further their organization's vision. Their project is in full Design Build contracted works and Construction Management works of major renovations completing in 2026. They require an IT infrastructure project manager, ideally experienced with IT in health care to fulfill an IT Delivery Manager role to direct project management and planning for IT networks, systems, and devices needed by the team. The outcome sought by this role is to mitigate IT impact affecting the organization's clinical operating at its opening and to mitigate the impact on the builders' schedule and commissioning of systems and equipment especially those relying on the organization's systems, networks, computing, and network security access.
What you will be doing:This IT Delivery Manager role is responsible for directing & leading a project team covering several IT areas. The role will be overseeing a team of project leads. Each lead managing work packages. The primary responsibility is the delivery of IT infrastructure and end use devices.
Specific Services:
  • Lead the planning of the integration of work packages. This will include overall planning, coordination and scheduling of all IT delivery projects.
  • Manage an IT Master Plan to align with project requirements.
  • Prepare necessary project PMO documents.
  • Create a masterwork breakdown structure, master schedule, and coordinate project implementation within the overall project and across the organization.
  • Oversee risk, issue, and scope change management processes related to the IT deliverables.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 10-year experience in an IT infrastructure project or program management delivery role leading, planning, prioritizing, and executing on multiple deliveries simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous, changing / reactionary priorities environment.
  • Able to efficiently prioritize and structure clear and unclear workloads.
  • Subject matter understanding and project management experience with the majority of the IT the areas listed in the above section Scope of Consulting Services.
  • Open to rolling up your sleeves, applying subject matter understanding and project management expertise, to dive into the details to uncover optimal solutions to technical design, implementation, and hand-over sustain problems.
  • Strong communication skills, and ability to interact with internal and external partners.
Qualifications that are a plus preference:
  • 7 years IT infrastructure delivery experience as part of facilities construction projects.
  • Background experience with P3 and/or Design-Build contractual statement of requirements related to IT infrastructure.
  • Formal project management training or certification.
  • Healthcare industry experience in an IT capacity.
  • 5 years experience working directly with Telecommunication providers.
  • A background understanding of Distributed Antenna System infrastructure
  • requirements/capabilities for both high band Cellular (e.g. 4G, 5G) and low band radio frequencies (e.g. ECOMM).
