• Develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy AWS applications, including large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and advanced analytics
• Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle for AWS solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance
• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures
• Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training as required
• Design, implement, and maintain services to efficiently serve the company's data to clients
• Participate in receiving and providing feedback on design and code reviews
• Innovative and critical thinker, able to own responsibilities and communicate with others within and between teams

What you must have:

• Diploma/Degree in computer science, information technology, mathematics or related fields
• 3+ years of experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on AWS platforms
• Extensive experience with container driven architecture such as Docker, ECS, Kubernetes, EKS, etc
• Strong knowledge in the architecture, design, implementation, and support of highly distributed and resilient cloud applications
• Ability to work both independently and in a team and be flexible to change
• Demonstrate strong competency in developing and working with NodeJS applications and familiarity with the npmJS ecosystems
• Strong proficiency in developing microservices with REST API design patterns
• Experience with building CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in several of the following areas: database architecture, big data, machine learning, advanced analytics
• Understanding of and experience with the five pillars of a well-architected frameworks

Nice to have:

• AWS certifications are a plus
• Experience with Kafka, AWS Kinesis (or any event sourcing tools), Data Lake
• Experience in Microsoft Azure
