Job Title: Senior Project Manager - MaximoJob ID: SC49129982Location: Calgary, ABOverview:One of our respected clients within the Energy Industry is looking to bring a Senior Project Manager into the Maximo project team based in Calgary on a contract basis.What you will be doing:
  • Manage the end-to-end execution of Maximo projects including facilitation of requirements gathering, analysis and
  • design, configuration and testing.
  • Ensure project establishes and delivers on commitment and benefits and establishes metrics to proactively identify areas
  • of risk and allow planning for mitigation.
  • Develop work plans, assigning responsibilities, organizing stakeholder activities, conducting project meetings, providing
  • project tracking details and project analysis.
  • Proactively maintaining a high level of user satisfaction throughout the project.
  • Proactively foster an environment of collaboration among teams and provide day-to-day direction for team resources.
  • Coach and advise project staff as required.
  • Adhere to project methodology as defined by the IT PMO governance.
What you must have:
  • Understanding of software development life cycle models as well as experience and knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
  • A proven track record of successfully implementing IT solution development projects.
  • 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager on enterprise/large implementations.
  • PMP or related certification.
  • Experienced in implementation and enhancements within Asset and Work Management systems : Maximo.
  • Experienced Senior Project Management enhancement and delivery within complex enterprise applications.
  • Ability to provide leadership to business analysts and collaborate with customers and develop strategies and solutions of high business value.
  • Experience developing business cases will be an asset.
  • Experience working with senior management and operational staff.
  • Demonstrated understanding and certification in ITIL practices
  • Microsoft Project, Visio, and all Office Tools.
  • SCRUM Master certification will be a strong asset.
