Job Requirements:

Essential Duties:

  • Maintains and updates records of shipments coming in and out of the facility using IFS System.
  • Handles non-conforming material per procedures. Upon request, identifies unfilled orders on a job.
  • Prepares and loads Aftermarket orders for shipment.
  • Pulls materials with pick lists from IFS for packing for shipment to customers.
  • Packages items to be shipped, posting weight and shipping charges and affixes shipping labels. Make needed packing list for shipments.
  • Photographs content of product shipment to serve as record. Assign appropriate job number and place in active job file in computer system.
  • Unpack incoming shipments, checks shipping paper for proper information, inspects parts for damage and accountability.
  • Aids in inventory and cycle counting activities as required.
  • Maintain equipment and facilities in good order.
  • Perform any other job duties in the plant as directed by the Team Leader or Supervisor.
  • Must be able to perform necessary computer functions.

Skills:

  • Must be able to obtain a valid Cleaver-Brooks lift truck license.
  • Must be able to competently operate an overhead crane.
  • Maintain equipment and facilities in good order.
  • Must be able to meet safety, quality and work standards.
  • Must work reasonable amount of overtime.
  • Must have a good communication skills.
  • Must know, understand and abide by all safety rules.
  • Operates material handling equipment, forklift, two-wheeler, overhead cranes etc.
  • Must be prompt and in regular attendance.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or GED with a minimum of two years in an assembly manufacturing environment.

Working Conditions and Hazards:

Normal plant, shop, field or office conditions. From time to time, slightly disagreeable features. Negligible or no exposure.
