One of our manufacturing clients in Shelburne, ON is looking for a Industrial Millwright for their facility.
Shift - Afternoon
Responsibilities:
Repairing pumps, motors, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
Troubleshooting and monitoring equipment functionality.
Engaging with equipment operators to identify their needs.
Conducting preventive maintenance and plant inspections.
Diagnosing common mechanical equipment issues.
Disassembling devices to access and replace defective parts.
Inspecting parts for imperfections in form and texture.
Examining used parts with micrometers, calipers, and gauges to identify dimensional changes.
Using welding and fabrication tools to modify, repair, and create processing equipment.
Executing the company's established preventive maintenance program.
Recording and reporting all performed maintenance work, and timely communication of future requirements.
Testing and adjusting equipment to meet specified performance criteria.
Qualifications:
At least three years of experience in a maintenance position.
Possession of an appropriate RED SEAL CERTIFICATION.
Completion of high school diploma.
Possession of a valid driver's license.
Having a Forklift License is considered an asset.
A Welding Ticket is considered an asset.
Experience in fabricating and welding various metals, including pipe welding.
