Crane Installer Lead Hand

Job Description:

• Install, set up and commission various types of lifting equipment (e.g., overhead cranes, jibs, workstations, etc.)
• Read and understand drawings and blueprints
• Work at heights on large steel structures
• Operate Forklifts, elevated work platforms, and other heavy equipment
• Maneuver and erect runways, columns
• Follow and abide by all Munck Cranes Service Division Inc. and customer Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Must be able to work in fast pace environments without sacrificing quality and safety
• Always Provide excellent customer service
• Maintain and upkeep inventory on company truck and have working knowledge and understanding of equipment
• Other duties as assigned

Experience:

• Millwright License, steel erector, structural welder
• 1+ years working experience installing overhead cranes
• CWB Welding Certificate, 4-Position Ticket
• Experience in the operation of heavy equipment
• Rigging experience is an asset
• Must be able to work well independently as well as a member of a team
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and able to handle heavy loads
• Must be willing to work overtime and occasional weekend shifts
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions, indoor and outdoor
