Do you have experience as a Clinical Supervisor? Are you passionate about delivering high-quality, needs-based ABA services to children with autism and intellectual exceptionalities? ABA Academy is looking for a part-time, independent contractor to help support their growing remote team!

Your Key Responsibilities

Working alongside ABA Academy's Program Manager, this opportunity entails:

  • Aids in activities related to clinical supervision, direction/ recommendations in home-based and community-based settings.
  • Responsible for supervising and overseeing the implementation of applied behaviour analysis programs for children with ASD and related developmental disabilities.
  • Evaluates, monitors, and provides overall clinical direction/recommendations related to client-specific intervention programming for young children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder or related developmental disabilities.
  • Delivers direct monthly supervision to each client based on a needs-based model.
  • Reviews and approves Behaviour Plans, Behavior Support Plans, Behavior guidelines, assessments, Transition Plans and client-related programming/materials
  • Provides supervision to a team of Senior Therapists and Instructor Therapists who implement Intensive Behavioural Intervention (IBI) / ABA Programs in both one-to-one and group settings
  • Provide supervision, assistance, and support to Senior Therapists and Instructor Therapists.
  • Ability to respond to clinical staff/client emergencies
  • Monitors the quality and consistent delivery of the program.
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical team.
  • Follows Ontario Autism Program (OAP) guidelines
  • Follows standards, policies, and procedures set within the company.

What You Bring to the Table

  • You're an independent contractor looking to deliver high-quality ABA services on a part-time basis!
  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • 4 years of experience as an Instructor Therapist delivering needs-based ABA services to children with ASD and developmental exceptionalities.
  • 1 year working as a Senior Therapist guiding Instructional Therapists and delivering ABA programs.
  • 1 year of experience as a Clinical Supervisor providing clinical and program supervision, assessment, and direct service.
  • You're in good standing on the OAP Provider List and the BACB.
  • Well-versed in applying OAP guidelines, company protocols, policies and procedures while delivering clinical ABA interventions.
  • Strong leadership ability to quickly problem-solve, resolve client/staff conflicts, and inspire Therapists to do their best work.
  • Outstanding communicator who is personable, collaborative, receptive to constructive feedback, and navigates difficult staff and client conversations with ease and professionalism.
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills to effectively manage your caseload and competing priorities.
  • Technically versed in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint), Google Workspace and any productivity apps (Asana, Slack).
  • Valid G drivers' license, access to a vehicle and are willing to travel throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
  • You're available to work overtime occasionally on weekends and/or evenings based on clients' and staff needs.
  • You're willing to provide a vulnerable sector police check (not older than 6 months) and possess your First Aid/CPR certification.

Nice to Haves

  • 1 year of experience delivering ABA therapy services in home- and community-based settings.
