POSITION OVERVIEW

This is a 6 month contract opportunity, with possibility of extension, based on the needs of the Centre.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Preparing food according to the daily schedules of the program
• Purchasing food within a budget
• Clean, safe and sanitary kitchen areas
• Preparing substitutions according to children's allergies and food restrictions
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy object and stand for a prolonged period of time
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have food handlers' certificate
- Knowledge of the Canada's Food Guide
MINISTRY REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 Step TB
- Updated Immunizations (Tetanus, MMR)
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- Standard First Aid & CPR Level C
