**Job Title: Director, Integration Engineering**

**Job Overview:**

The Director, Integration Engineering plays a pivotal role in the strategic management of enterprise-level application integrations at Airline Software. This senior position is part of the IT leadership team and is instrumental in defining and developing technologies and services for integrating applications with client and third-party systems to deliver effective solutions.

**Essential Functions:**

- Engage in extensive interaction with customers and technology partners.

- Manage the development of software applications and architectural solutions.

- Provide strategic leadership and oversight for enterprise application development.

- Foster business partnerships to enhance efficiency and align with priorities and business strategies.

- Promote continuous improvement to ensure stability and performance of enterprise applications.

- Develop and standardize integration frameworks for real-time and batch data.

- Keep updated on security vulnerabilities to protect applications and data.

- Utilize SaaS and PaaS services and incorporate critical improvements into release cycles.

- Adhere to industry-standard development and deployment processes such as SDLC and DevOps.

**Required Skills, Education, and Experience:**

- Bachelors degree required, advanced degree preferred.

- At least 7 years of managerial experience in software technology with complex applications.

- Experience leading large-scale, real-time data integration projects.

- Proficiency in Java, Apache Tomcat, Weblogic, and TomEE.

- Expertise in SOAP/REST web services using XML/JSON.

- Knowledge of AWS cloud technologies, deployment tools, and container orchestration.

- Familiarity with airline and travel applications and standards.

**Position Type and Hours of Work:**

- Full-time, Monday to Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends as needed.

- Yes.

**Travel Requirements:**

- Minimal.

**Compensation:**

- Annual salary range: $130,000 - $150,000 CAD, based on experience.
