Job Summary

Reporting directly to the Strategic Initiatives Manager of Infinity Métis Corp. ‘IMC', the Business Analyst is responsible for supporting various areas of the organization in researching, coordinating, and implementing process and systems improvements to increase operational effectiveness and service delivery. The Business Analyst supports the implementation of the IMC's Strategic Plan through the development of performance measurement systems, processes, and reporting. The Business Analyst will collaborate across the organization to promote continuous improvement.

The incumbent will conduct all activities in a manner that supports the mission, vision and values of IMC, as well as adherence to all established Policies and Procedures.

This permanent full-time salaried position is based on forty (40) hours weekly.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Research, investigate, identify, and provide recommendations to enhance established processes and procedures.
  • Effectively communicate insights and present plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Assist the Strategic Initiatives Manager in supporting Joint Venture Partners in performance metric development that aligns with IMC's Strategic Plan and key performance indicators.
  • Measure, track and provide timely reports on critical KPIs and initiatives.
  • Provide insights to the Strategic Initiatives Manager through analytics and market research as required.
  • Assist in creating long-term operational roadmaps for different departments.
  • Implement evidence-based decision-making, apply thoughtful analytics to business opportunities, identify success metrics and develop reporting to track progress against goals.
  • Support on Request for Proposals and Procurement Management; and,
  • Other relatable duties as required.

Qualifications

  • A post secondary diploma in Business or related field, along with four (4) years business analysis experience or related field is required; or,
  • A combination of post secondary education in Business or related field, along with Six (6) years business analysis experience or related field may be considered;
  • Exceptional project management skills along with excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills;
  • Strong research, strategic planning, analytical, problem solving, and decision‐making skills;
  • Aptitude in preparing analytical documentation (diagramming, flowcharts, analysis, findings, recommendations, reports, presentations);
  • Ability to establish effective, collaborative, working relationships and an ability to build trust with staff across all levels of the organization;
  • High energy level, ability to multitask, establish priorities, work independently or in a team environment;
  • Must be decisive and work well under pressure particularly when faced with an unexpected occurrence or delay;
  • Must be proficient will all Microsoft office suite applications;
  • Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality; and,
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to listen effectively, respond appropriately, and maintain mutual comfort level while relating to a diverse workforce.
