SHIFT: 12-hour rotating every 2 weeks between days and nights

INDUSTRY: Heavy Industrial 24/7 operationPOSITIONS SUMMARY:The licensed millwright will be responsible for the maintenance and preventative maintenance of all plant machinery. This plant runs 24/7 and is a continuous process environment. It is in the heavy industrial sector the company provides materials used in a variety of industriesRESPONSIBILITIES: Inspect, install, repair, replace, and adjust all mechanical equipment in the plant.
Receive instructions, prints, or work orders, covering scheduled and emergency repairs, installation, and inspection work to be done.
Determine the best way of making repairs to minimize interruption of production.
Advise when immediate shut down of equipment is necessary to minimize damage or when temporarily continued operation will have no harmful effect.
Assemble or align gears, bearings, and shafts, involving press, sliding, and running fits, align pumps, motors, turbines, and gear reducers.
Responsible for performing assigned maintenance work on large and small producing units.
Operate power-driven mobile equipment and ordinary crane hooking.
