- The SAP BW4 HANA Consultant will be based in Calgary, AB and is a full-time role. - The candidate needs to have a Bachelor's degree with at least 7 years of Information Technology experience. - They should have at least 6 years of experience in SAP, specifically in SAP BW, BW/4HANA. - Strong skills in Analytics using ASAP methodologies, administration workbench data modeling BI, Extractor custom, and Enhancement are required. - They should be able to create functional designs with business analysts, functional consultants, and key users. - Preferred qualifications include understanding of data integration, data quality and data architecture. - Experience in SAP BW4HANA and Business objects is desired. - They should have experience in SQL, CDS views, AMDP codes, HCPRs, and HANA Calculation views. - Understanding of Agile software development frameworks, strong communication and analytical skills are required. - Experience in creating views using tables, attribute views, analytics view, Calculation view and analytics privilege and store procedure is needed. - The candidate needs to have a strong knowledge on data extraction, transformation and loading from BAP and Non-SAP source systems into SAP BW. - Experience in SAP BW development lifecycle from development to post go-live support is required. - They need to possess strong technical skills in all areas of the ABAP workbench including: BW User-Exits & Customer Enhancements; Performance Tuning; ABAP Objects; Analyzing ABAP logs/dumps; Researching SAP Notes and SAP script. - They should have strong technical skills in developing WEBI Reports and Dashboards, Universe Design Tool, Information Design Tool, BI Launchpad, BI Platform and CMC (Central Management Console). - Experience as a Team Lead with Architect, design and develop analytical & transactional application is an additional advantage. - The candidate should be willing to work on a Project Consulting environment and have the ability to multitask to execute multiple short-term projects simultaneously.
