True North Salmon, a division of Cooke Aquaculture Inc., a dynamic and growing east coast family company, with Platinum Member status in the Canada's Best Managed Companies Program has an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join the Company's Quality Assurance Team based out of our facility located in our St. George, NB facility.

The Role

The Quality Control position is an entry level position that requires a high degree of specialized expertise and skill in maintaining established standards of safety, quality and accuracy. As a quality control you must be able to exercise the necessary authority to assure policies and procedures are followed and time frames are met. In the Quality Control department, you will report to the QA Manager.

Specific responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to:

• Exceptional attendance record;
• Flexible working hours including a 6am start time for set-up;
• Ability to ensure product complies with specifications;
• Experience with Microsoft Office (word, excel) would be an asset, but training will be provided;
• Works well in a high demanding, deadline driven environment;
• Adhere to and promote all QA and Health and Safety regulations;
• Respectful to other employees at all time;
• Respectful to the Company and it's mission and values

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and excellent communication and computer skills. You work well in a busy environment and manage conflicting priorities with ease. A keen eye for detail, you are a driven professional who demonstrates initiative and has the ability to contribute to a positive team oriented work environment.

This position pays an hourly premium of .80 cents
