We are currently looking for a Pipelayer to assist our construction team in Revelstoke. The successful candidate will be an individual with a flexible schedule to work with our team on multiple civil construction projects throughout British Columbia. The right candidate will have the training and confidence to aid the construction team in projects.

Expectations

• Reading blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings
• Assisting supervisors with layout
• Ability to check slopes and grades for compliance with plans using levels/laser equipment.
• Knowledge of storm/sanitary sewage systems, underground utilities, and water main installation
• Install various types of underground utilities to the local standards and specifications. Including but not limited to water, storm, and sanitary pipe systems.
• Skill in cutting, beveling, and pipe installation.
• Ability to multi-task
• Highly organized with acute attention to detail
• Strong team player and self-motivated

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience in civil construction is considered an asset.
• Understanding of current OH&S safe work practices and regulations
• Physically fit to perform duties.
• Class 5 License is required.
