Be a part of the initial team to grow and operate a regionally significant new underground mine development
that is rapidly becoming the future of the iconic Red Lake gold mining district in Ontario, Canada.

Reporting to the Environment and Community Superintendent, the successful candidate will have a desire to
work with a supportive team of environmental professionals while applying your education and experience in
field monitoring to further establish your career. In this role you will be a valued asset to the daily collection of
field data and implementation of environmental monitoring.

The focus of this role will include:
• Implement environmental monitoring programs including but not limited to; surface water and
groundwater sampling, air quality and acoustics monitoring, wildlife and species at risk
monitoring.
• Maintain accurate and detailed field notes, databases and regulatory compliance monitoring
• Maintain field equipment, monitoring supplies and preparation for field sampling programs
• Promote environmental awareness and assist in the sites waste management programs

Skills and Experience:
• Relevant education/training in an environmental program or experience field sampling.
• Experience completing monitoring programs related to the following; water sampling, wildlife
monitoring, construction, water treatment, noise and air quality monitoring.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to pay attention to detail
• Strong computer skills and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, ability to work well with others and follow
instruction
• Valid Class G driver's license and ability to obtain a Pleasure Craft Operators Licence (Boat
Licence)
• Experience safely operating boats, snowmobiles and UTVs. Physically capable of working
outdoors in changing weather conditions

Physical requirements:
Handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, hand-eye co-ordination, standing for extended periods of time.
Bending, crouching, and kneeling.
