Job Summary:
J&R Contracting is seeking a hard working and determined indiduals to join our team in Bolton, ON. This is a full-time, individual contributor role with a salary of $17 per hour, paid biweekly. As a painter, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and quality completion of painting projects for our clients. You will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, collaborating with our team to deliver outstanding results for our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare painting surfaces by scraping, sanding, and priming as needed
- Mix and apply paint and other finishes to various surfaces such as walls, ceilings, and trim
- Use various tools and techniques to achieve desired finishes (e.g. brushes, rollers, sprayers)
- Protect surfaces from paint, stains, and other finishes during the painting process
- Coordinate with team members to ensure project timelines are met
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures at all times
- Maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail in all painting projects
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet project deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
