We specialize in pre-fabrication, modular systems and installation of large-scale residential, commercial, institutional, educational, and medical design-build plumbing and mechanical projects.
Our company is growing fast, and we are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic team player to join our team as a Mechanical Project Estimator. Reporting to the Director of Estimating & Procurement, the Mechanical Project Estimator will provide support by producing complete materials and labour estimates for projects.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Review project drawings and specifications to comprehend each project's mechanical scope clearly and comprehensively.
- Identify and finish incomplete hydronic and plumbing piping scope on mechanical drawings.
- Utilize on-screen takeoff software to create a comprehensive materials and labour estimate.
- Maintain an estimating database.
- Prepare estimating data reports.
- Performs other duties as required.
Job requirements:
- Strong knowledge of plumbing and hydronic design, industry equipment and systems.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience as a plumber on a construction job site is required.
- Completion of the Plumbing Apprenticeship Program is required. Red Seal Plumbing Certification is an asset.
- Formal education in mechanical design or engineering is an asset.
- Proficiency in construction software – specifically Quotesoft, BlueBeam and Revizto is a strong asset.
- Knowledge and proficiency in AutoCAD is an asset.
- Knowledge and proficiency with Revit are strong assets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) is required.
- Previous experience with Procore is an asset.

Compensation: $80,000 to $100,000/year + 5% RRSP + Full Benefits 100% Company-Paid + Life Insurance + LTD
