Frontline Traffic Services is a well-established traffic control company, focused on providing traffic control services throughout Nova Scotia. Our team has had tremendous growth in the last year, and we are excited to keep expanding. We are looking to hire hardworking certified Temporary Workplace Signers (TWS) to join our growing team for the upcoming 2024 season starting this spring. In this exciting role, you would be responsible for managing traffic through construction sites in and around the Halifax/Dartmouth/Sackville area. Requirements:

• Must have valid TCP and TWS certification.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Able to interpret both written and verbal instructions.
  
• Great communication skills and willing to work in a team environment.
• Willing to work outside in all weather conditions, often working long days.
• Comfortable working near vehicle traffic and heavy equipment.
• Lifting to 30 lbs and standing for long periods of time.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist with placing signs, barricades, and traffic cones in work areas.
• Communicate with other TCP in the workplace to regulate traffic safely.
• Be responsible for the safe passage of vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists through work areas.
• Communicate any incidents or hazards to the Site Supervisor.
• Ensure a safe work environment in accordance with all policies and procedures.
• Follow instructions given by field supervisors/management or site foremen.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
