The Position:

Summit Search Grouphas been retained byInland Plasticson the recruitment of their next Assistant Branch Manager. Inland Plastics was founded in 1965 with their first manufacturing location situated in the back of a local barber shop.

Inland Plastics has grown to become one of North Americas largest warehousing and distributors of reinforced vinyl, reinforced polyethylene, mesh, shade, canvas & specialty textiles. These products are sourced domestically and internationally. Inland Plastics supplies the Commercial and Industrial Textile industry with a wide variety of textiles & accessories from our six North American warehouses. We custom order to required specifications and supply at all levels of volume from roll lots to full truckloads and direct ship sea containers.

As the Assistant Branch Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and operational excellence. Collaborating closely with the Branch Manager, youll lead sales initiatives, manage customer relationships, and ensure efficient branch operations. Your strategic insights and operational expertise will be key in achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete sales in Saskatchewan and Manitoba regions, including existing account management and generation of new clients through inbound and outbound strategies.
  • Assist Branch Manager with all management related duties.
  • Enter customer sales in the CRM.
  • Participate in monthly sales and management meetings.
  • Research new sales opportunities.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and motivation to all employees with an emphasis on team building.
  • Attend industry trade shows and act as an expert in the field.
  • Ensure warehouse equipment, production equipment, buildings and grounds are kept in working order.
  • Oversee and schedule staff to complete inventory rotary counts.

Qualifications:

  • Post-Secondary education in Business, Commerce, Agriculture, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of proven experience leading a sales region.
  • Excellent time management and customer relationship skills.
