Entuitive is looking for a Junior Structural Designer, based in our Vancouver office. Take the opportunity to learn more about the structural engineering service at Entuitive. We are passionate about our work and the talented individuals that get to deliver complex projects on a regular basis.

What will you do?

  • Responsible for the designing and detailing of structural elements including calculations, computer modelling, and analysis.
  • Production of engineering drawings and contract documents in collaboration with our BIM technologists and other members of the engineering team.
  • Conduct field reviews and other contract administrative duties.
  • CAD/BIM may be assigned as a portion of your job responsibility as required.
  • Implementation and adherence of Entuitive's quality assurance programs to ensure that services meet Entuitive's standards and our client's expectations.
  • Such other duties and responsibilities as Entuitive may assign to you from time to time.

Requirements

What do you need to succeed?

  • An engineering degree with a focus on civil and structural engineering.
  • A masters degree would be considered an asset
  • Industry experience is considered an asset.
  • Must have a working knowledge and ability to use programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Word and Excel and structural analysis software (SAP2000, RAM, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to work with people at all levels including project stakeholders and clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and deliverables on an ongoing basis.
  • Knowledge and interest related to embodied carbon is considered an asset

Benefits

Compensation

The salary range for this position is between $60,000 to $65,000 annually and is based upon experience, qualifications, location, and education. This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the British Columbia Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful British Columbia applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in British Columbia or perform the position from British Columbia.
