As an Account Executive for Plan Group Technical Services, you will leverage your effective interpersonal skills to obtain new work, grow and foster long-term client relations with a focus on securing contracts across all Plan Group lines of business with new and existing clients.

To truly excel in this role you are able to effectively leverage your strong communication and leadership abilities to positively influence clients, maximize profit and drive results.

AsAccount Executive, Technical Services, you will:

  • Identify and engage prospective clients through calls, emails, networking, and partnerships.
  • Nurture existing clients, expanding into new markets to achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and implement strategic action plans for individual and company goals.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and establish interest in energy solutions.
  • Travel to customer sites for meetings, presentations, and technical assessments (estimated 30% travel).
  • Collaborate with internal teams to organize customer information, develop proposals, and coordinate opportunity flow.
  • Generate quotations, respond to RFPs, and support regular reporting to the Senior Management Team.
  • Promote sales to existing clients, consult post-sale for ongoing support, and adhere to company policies.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of specifications and drawings.
  • Develop material labor take-offs, coordinate price packages, and review estimates with Project Managers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5 years in business development & account management in the Power System Industry.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in a field environment with the Power System Industry.
  • Field experience in Medium/High Voltage substation maintenance and projects.
  • Effective communication, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Highly energetic, results-driven, collaborative team member.
  • knowledge about theMaintenance & commissioning of electrical equipment (120V to 800kV).
  • knowledge about theTesting and commissioning of protection relays, power transformer installation, assembly, testing, and re-gasketing.
  • knowledge about theInstrument transformer installation, testing, and repair.
  • knowledge about theSwitchgear upgrades & modifications, testing, and repair.
