Job Opportunity: Outside Sales Representative, Events

Are you a dynamic and driven individual eager to make a significant impact in supporting children's charities? Trevor Frances Recruitment is currently seeking a passionate Outside Sales Representative to spearhead our client's efforts in delivering exceptional fundraising events.

About the Role:

As the Outside Sales Representative, Events, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating the success of various fundraising events aimed at supporting children's charities. These events are instrumental in raising vital funds for our charitable initiatives, making this role both impactful and rewarding.

Responsibilities:

+ Build, manage, and leverage relationships to drive business development opportunities.

+ Demonstrate a proactive approach in meeting and exceeding sales targets by actively prospecting new teams, sponsors, participants, and supporters.

+ Increase team and participant numbers while supporting the ongoing development of existing supporters.

+ Liaise with various stakeholders, including corporate partners and internal teams, to ensure the financial success of fundraising campaigns.

+ Execute sales activities with a focus on driving event participation and securing support for our charitable initiatives.

+ Utilize varying sales strategies including phone, in-person, and email communication to facilitate sales presentations and drive commitment from prospects.

+ Create customized pitches tailored to different audiences and effectively communicate the organization's mission.

+Use a strong "ask" orientation to drive sales tactics and achieve lead measures.

Qualifications:

+Proven track record of business development success and a robust network of prospects.

+Ability to conceptualize and build compelling pitch presentations and stewardship strategies.

+Strong sales orientation with experience in sales, account management, and marketing.

+ Entrepreneurial mindset with a belief in our mission to support children's charities.

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.

+ Strong organizational and project management skills, with a results-driven approach.

+ Experience in managing relationships with internal/external stakeholders and agencies.

+ Total team player with individual accountability and initiative.

Additional Information:

+ Ideal candidates will bring their own network/pipeline of leads.

+ Responsible for executing sales activities, driven to exceed our targets/goals, and manage sales tactics.

+ Ability to create customized pitches per audience and effectively make an ask.

+ This is a 3-month contract position based in Toronto, Canada with the opportunity to continue long term.
