About the Role:
DataStealth is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our talented team of engineers. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving the development of our cutting-edge Data Security Platform, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions to our enterprise clients.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise
- Drive the development lifecycle, from design to deployment, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of software solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and excellence in engineering practices
- Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines and business objectives
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for growth within the team
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and excellence in our products
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Proven experience (minimum 3-5 years) in a software engineering people leadership role, having led at least 4-8 members
- Expertise in clean, efficient and structured programming for top-notch performance with a track record of successfully delivering complex software projects
- Strong technical background in software development, with proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, etc.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team towards achieving common goals
- Experience working in the cybersecurity or data security industry is a plus
