The Opportunity

We are seeking proactive, tech-savvy individuals with an entrepreneurial mindset to join us as an Account Executive. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in expanding our presence in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech sector, focusing on services such as Competitive Intelligence tracking, Key Opinion Leader tracking, and other Market Research information offerings. As a quota-carrying sales position, this role provides a dynamic and challenging environment.

Our Account Executives can be based in Canada or operate as Digital Nomads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively seek and acquire new clients, surpassing assigned sales targets
  • Take charge of conducting demo calls and overseeing the entire sales cycle for accounts within your territory
  • Source and cultivate new business prospects through various channels, including inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, discovery, and independent research, both within and outside the existing customer network
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and ensure effective communication internally and externally
  • Nurture existing accounts in your territory, actively pursuing renewal and upsell opportunities
  • Utilize our CRM platform (Salesforce) and other tools to meticulously track, analyze, and report on the quantity, quality, source, and outcomes of all opportunities
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to design impactful campaigns tailored to the specific needs of potential prospects
  • Cultivate enduring relationships with prospects and customers, ensuring a strong and ongoing connection
  • Skillfully negotiate contracts and finalize agreements to optimize profitability
  • Represent LARVOL at industry conferences

Our ideal candidate will have

  • 1-3 years of experience in business-to-business sales, within the SaaS, Pharma, or Life Sciences sectors
  • Demonstrated success in consistently meeting and surpassing sales targets
  • Possesses a Hunter mentality, displaying a sense of urgency and a track record of acquiring new logos
  • Ability to work independently, effectively managing the entire sales process
  • A strong work ethic, entrepreneurial spirit, and desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
  • Ability to travel to conferences ~ up to 25%
  • Client service-focused mindset with evident follow-through skills
  • Adaptable to change, able to make independent decisions when faced with competing priorities
  • Healthcare sales / Pharmaceutical sales and/or Life sciences background is a must
