Job Title: Project Management SpecialistJob ID: SP3238485325Location: Richmond, BCOverview:The Project Management Specialist is responsible for assisting the Lean Portfolio Management practice with process improvement, meaningful metrics, development of strategies supporting overall direction. You will be evaluating processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions. This role will report to the Manager, Technology Portfolio Planning and Reporting but will also be assigned special project work from Director, EDO. What you will be doing:
  • Developing, implementing and automating data collection, data analytics and other strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Running workshops to solicit requirements
  • Developing KPIs, dashboards and reports to report automation
  • Business value modelling and reporting
  • Financial analysis and forecasting
  • Having an agile mindset and the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with diverse leaders
  • Being an innovative problem-solver that embeds a continuous improvement mentality for portfolio delivery
What you must have:
  • Experience in agile approach to business analysis, portfolio management and running workshops to solicit requirements
  • Knowledge to BPMN
  • Knowledge of change management approaches and techniques
  • Critical thinking
  • Understanding of technical jargon
  • Highly proficient with Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other tools
  • Experience in creating reports in Power BI
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, environment with a “hands-on” team player approach
  • Comfortable with ambiguity; ability to work with incomplete data or seemingly open-ended questions and translate into actionable analysis
  • Proficient in handling multiple concurrent projects and deadlines
  • Superior written and verbal presentation skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Able to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization in verbal and written form.
  • High integrity, energy, and enthusiasm
  • University degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) and 5+ years working experience as a Business Analyst, which includes 1-year direct hands-on experience in the Agile practice
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Able to comply with the company's Employee and Contractor Mandatory Vaccine Policy
