Hours: Monday - Friday 8 am to 5 pm
What You Will Be Doing:
- Generating, researching, and pitching ideas for posts.
- Writing, editing, publishing, and promoting content.
- Monitoring responses to posts via the website, social media, or other platforms to better understand the audience.
- Promoting new posts using advertisements, emails, social media, and other methods to alert and attract new readers.
- Advocating and educating others about interests, products, or services.
- Maximizing site traffic by utilizing Search Engine Optimization keywords.
- Staying current on industry trends for possible opportunities to attract new readers or create stronger, more engaging content
- Other duties as designed
What You Bring to the Table:
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in a related field
- Knowledge of automotive industry, trends and technologies
- Ability to write engaging and informative blog posts
- Strong research skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms and the ability to promote content effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Graphic design experience to create images for blog posts
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS coding for formatting blog posts
- Ability to develop relationships with industry influencers and sources
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Valid G Driver's License and acceptable driving record
