We are looking for Civil Site Supervisors or Lead hands to join our environmental construction team. Environmental construction utilizes the same skills present to most qualified and experienced civil construction personnel. Should the right candidate need training, then we will help them to adapt skills to suit environmental construction - Growth is all apart of what we do.

We are currently looking to add a Civil Site Supervisor/Lead Hand to our Environmental team.

Responsibilities:

As a Civil Site Supervisor/Lead Hand you will be responsible for the following:

  • Lead a team of 2-5 personnel on environmental/civil construction sites.
  • Take the initiative in achieving daily and weekly job site goals.
  • Demonstrate respectful leadership skills in both team delegation and adhering to directions from project managers/clients.

What we are looking for:

  • Read and understand construction plans and documents.
  • Work in conjunction with biologists and environmental monitors to effectively conduct works in environmentally sensitive areas.
  • Demonstrate Civil Construction Skills, which may include:
    • Safely work on steep and uneven terrain
    • Shoot grade and understand elevations, GPS etc.
    • Pipefitting
    • Linear infrastructure installation
    • Utilities installation
    • Trenching
    • Subgrade preparation and compaction
    • Working with, in, and around heavy equipment
    • Understand ground compaction and soil mechanics
    • Heavy equipment operation
