Job Title: Business Implementation and Change Management LeadJob ID: SP2946497324Location: Richmond, BC Overview:The Business Implementation and Change Management Lead is responsible for supporting the planning, writing and publishing of the 2023 Business Plan. The position will work closely within a multidisciplinary team to be part of designing the overall business planning process, including developing the business planning tools and the final product (the 2023 Corporate Business Plan). This position will take the lead on developing a stakeholder assessment, engagement, and program change plan in support of the primary business planning process. The position will provide coordination to all communications in support of the business plan development and be responsible for updating communication tactics throughout the build and implement cycle.What you will be doing:Organizational Change Management
  • Designs, develops and implements change management strategies and plans
  • Develops an overall communications strategy and produces and integrated and robust communication plan
  • Completes an overall change management assessment
  • Supervises execution of activities related to organizational change management
  • Supports the project leaders in ensuring strong sponsorship of the program
  • Identifies and anticipates organizational challenges and/or resistance; develops risk mitigation plan
  • Manages resolution of potential organizational obstacles
  • Ensures policy or business practice changes are planned and managed through the approval process
  • Performs/assesses stakeholder analysis identifying potential project impacts/risks
  • Fosters and coordinates - stakeholder engagement
  • Create a strategy to overcome initial resistance to change and ultimately adoption of new/revised processes around the annual business plan and budgeting process
Communication
  • Works closely with the Corporate Communications & Marketing teams to ensure key messages are properly developed and shared
  • Provides content and ensures messages delivered are consistent across all mediums
  • Coordinates the change network responsible for communicating the change into the organization, and outward to impacted stakeholders
  • Facilitates meetings, deliver presentations as required
  • Create targeted communications and enacts the tactics within the plan
Project Management Activities
  • Ensures timely and high-quality deliverables of the team
  • Assists with development detailed team work plan and integration of the Change Management plan into the overall project plan
  • Manages multi-dimensional resource team to the plan and timeline
  • Identifies, tracks, reports and resolves risks, key dependencies and issues
  • Works with other team leads to ensure integration across project teams
  • Provides regular updates to - Director, Strategic Initiatives-Implementation and other stakeholders as requested
What you must have:
  • 5+ years understanding of, and working with, change management methodologies
  • 5+ years working on large-scale business & technology transformation projects
  • Knowledgeable in drafting of comprehensive communications plan that is highly integrated with change management practice
  • Knowledgeable of the roles of an Office of Strategy Management, and the goals of aligning business plans, budgeting, and annual reports to the strategic plans of the organization
  • Knowledgeable of specific tactics such as generating strategy maps and/or roadmaps that align to and advance the organizational strategies aligned to a corporate strategic plan
