THE ROLE

We are partnering with a reputable Canadian law firm located in Surrey, BC. Currently, we are looking to add an additional team member to their corporate team as they have a need for aCorporate Paralegal.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintenance of electronic minute books

Preparation of Annual Reports and supporting resolutions for BC companies, federal companies, and Societies

Incorporations

Preparation of supporting documentation for dividends, redemptions, and other basic corporate transactions

Business transactions

Reorganizations

REQUIREMENTS:

3+ years of corporate law experience

Successful completion of an LAA certificate or diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution

Strong organizational skills, proactive and a problem solver

High attention to detail and methodical approach to work

Proficient in MS Office Suite and working with computers, printers, scanners and communications technology

Strong communication skills both on the phone and in person and written communication, including electronic communication

Professional customer service experience with the ability to perform under time pressure and manage client relations

Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
