About the position:
As a Senior Quality Assurance professional at our company, you will take a leadership role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications and systems. Working closely with our development, Salesforce, and support teams, you will drive the testing strategy, mentor junior QA team members, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead and define the testing strategy, approach, and best practices for software projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and understand project requirements and develop comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts.
- Oversee and participate in the creation and execution of test plans, cases, and scripts.
- Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing to identify defects and ensure software quality.
- Analyze and document software issues and bugs, effectively communicating them to relevant stakeholders.
- Lead issue reproduction and troubleshooting, working closely with developers for timely resolution.
- Conduct exploratory testing to identify usability and user experience issues.
What You Should Already Have:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
- Extensive experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on testing complex applications and systems (ideally 7+ years)
- Strong knowledge of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices
- Proven experience in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Solid understanding of functional, regression, and integration testing techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to mentor and guide junior team members
- Proficiency in using productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Bonus: Experience with test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Cypress, or TestNG
- Bonus: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Bonus: Familiarity with Salesforce and Salesforce testing practices
- Bonus: Relevant certifications in software testing or quality assurance
