Position Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Staff Accountant specializing in General Accounting to join our dynamic team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks to ensure accurate and timely financial information, supporting the overall financial operations of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day accounting activities such as journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports as needed.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of transactions.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and provide financial information and analysis as required.
  • Assist with external audits by providing documentation and supporting schedules as requested.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification or pursuing CPA eligibility is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in general accounting or related role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
