ISLAND OWL MAZDA is growing again and we are looking for a Lot Manager to join our fun and family-like atmosphere team in our busy Vancouver Island location. If you've got a passion for cars, and experience in detailing or vehicle inventory management, this could be a great opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
- Keep lot crew on track – step in and wash cars and help when needed
- Physical lot walk and audit
- Keep lot and surrounding areas clean, organized and orderly
- Online inventory upkeep
- Audit inventory list and used/new listings on website
- Ensure vehicles travel to Bodyshop, Like New and other dealerships/locations smoothly
- Training and recruiting!
- Lot inventory shuffle/clean up
- Checking supplies
- Weekly lot crew meeting
- Budget reviews
- Review schedule for lot crew
- Review condition of vehicle on return score
- Forecasting and goal setting
Requirements:
- Be extremely organized
- Pay close attention to detail
- Be self-motivated
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Be able to work effectively against deadlines
- Possess a valid British Columbia Driver's License, ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission, and present a current copy of your driver's abstract (ICBC driver's record) for review
Wage:
- $20 to $25 per hour; depending on experience
