Are we right for each other?

As a Senior Azure Security and Identity Engineer, you would be a part of the team implementing Azure Entra Private Access for our client in collaboration with Microsoft. Azure Entra Private access is not yet for general availability. We are seeking a seasoned Azure solution developer with an understanding of Zero Trust authentication methodologies and solid coding experience. Your job will be enabling secure, dynamic, scalable, and high-performance cloud solutions with Azure. You have passion and talent and take pride in your work. As a Senior Azure Security and Identity Engineer, you're responsible for developing and implementing Secure Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS enterprise solutions using Azure Entra Private Access. As an experienced team member, you know what excellent tastes like and continuously strive for yourself and the team to improve. Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing Secure Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS Solutions (covering Identity, Networking, Storage, Containers, ...)
  • Identify and communicate security control gaps in the Azure environment.
  • Implementing Azure Security Controls in a Hybrid Cloud Environment
  • Develop infrastructure as code to enable managing large distributed systems
  • Develop robust software libraries and services tailored to specific projects
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives for both personal and team development
  • Developing and implementing cloud solutions with high availability, concurrency, and low latency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the product development lifecycle from ideation to deployment
  • Maintain an unwavering commitment to excellence and high standards in all aspects of software development
  • Evaluate, implement, and advocate for best practices in software development
  • Facilitate seamless integration with runtime, deployment, and other SDLC technologies
  • Contribute to technical discussions and provide estimations and technical proposals for potential clients

Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure Networking
  • 7+ years of experience in software development using Java or Go
  • Familiar with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Azure ExpressRoute
  • Experience in building custom VPN solutions
  • Experience using infrastructure as code frameworks and languages (e.g., Terraform, CDK)
  • Experience with cloud and security in the cloud - IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS products
  • Understanding IP and TCP/UDP fundamentals
  • Ability to reason about performance, security, and process interactions in complex distributed systems
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate well with both technical and non-technical audiences, both written and orally
  • Experience in agile/scrum methodologies
  • Experience working with remote / distributed teams and projects

Ideally, you'll also have:

  • Related Azure certifications (Azure Foundations Certification, Azure Security Engineer Certification, ...)
  • Understanding ZTNA (Zero Trust Network Access)
  • Experience with ZScaler
  • Understanding of RBAC and user authentication protocols
  • Understanding of X.509 certificates and trust roots
