Our in-house design departments include Residential + Mixed-Use, Commercial + Industrial, Interior Design and Experiential Graphic Design. In addition, we have a Digital Practice Department, who commits to the implementation of BIM, research + development, and the infusion of cutting-edge technology into our projects and practice.

Who are we looking for:

We have an immediate opening for an Intermediate Architectural Designer working within our office located in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Our ideal candidate has a strong aptitude regarding commercial/retail construction, is self-motivated, and highly skilled in the production and coordination of deliverables to successfully execute projects autonomously.

What you will do:

  • Preparing and/or coordinating drawings/documents primarily utilizing Revit in accordance with client specifications, budget, applicable building codes, and project timelines with the support and guidance of our team.
  • Ensuring work adheres to TF drawing standards and procedures.
  • Maintaining a good working knowledge of applicable building codes and municipal by-laws.
  • Attending on site work, including site visits, meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and municipalities.

What you will bring:

  • Degree/Diploma from an accredited institution in Architecture or Architectural technology.
  • Minimum two years of progressively more responsible roles within Architecture firms, preferably in Commercial + Industrial projects.
  • Proficient experience in Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office suite.
  • Good working knowledge of applicable building codes and municipal by-laws.
  • A high degree of curiosity, enthusiasm, and confidence, enabling effective collaboration, communication, and driving change.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid role, with 3 days in the studio.
